My Story

2005: Started

teaching classes

2008: Graduate from University with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics

They say traditional education doesn’t dictate success. For me it’s a biggie in many ways.

2008:

Began working

with people to rehab

injuries

And Personal Training people for fitness.

Clients from police offers to stroke patients… each minute was a learning experience.

2009: Always committed to my own fitness & mobility

I’ve had many rituals come and go.

Exercising on vacation is not a must…. having a movement practice that is part of your life, is.

2010: Known as a leader in my community

The invitations to lead community events poured in. I said YES to everything.

2011: Meanwhile my worthiness was based on how I looked and what I accomplished

I also experienced gut issues and spent $1000’s on holistic therapies.

2012: Over-trained & over-worked

I began to learn (and accept) that I was experiencing symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue.

After the events of the next image, I also learned what Female Athlete Triad Syndrome was.

2012: Broke my femur during a half marathon

Not being able to walk for 8 months , and then re-learning (and being patient to learn) how to, again was BEYOND mentally, physically, and emotionally challenging.

On the other hand, my internal & physical body began to heal, and my life was beautifully redirected to exactly where it is meant to be.

2013: Restarted my fitness Business

Community events continued.

I now said yes ONLY to things that felt good & exciting!

2014: Got back to sport

BC Ismaili Women’s Volleyball Team

and heels!

Used to wake up with IMMENSE hip and knee soreness after a night in heels!

This was always a wake-up sign that I STILL had work to do!

2013-2015: Brene!

I have always been into personal growth. The events of my life led me to binge read the wisdom of Brene Brown, Don Miguel Ruiz, Carolynn Myss, Dr. Gabor Mate, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Tom Myers (fascia & emotional health)

2017: Sleepless in Greece

The realization that I was functioning with Adrenal Burnout set in.

Began to look closer at my schedule, and was called to excavate the mindsets and narratives driving the behaviours.

2017: Began journey with Fascial Stretch Therapy

Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.

I will f o r e v e r share the benefits of Fascial work, and will work with people, hands-on for as long as I am meant to.

2013-2020: Continued to work with Women

My personal clients were mainly between age 30-45.

The women, each on their own journey - were experiencing similar things with their health. I could relate to all of it.

2018: Began to trust Intuitive eating

There is truly no 30-day program to teach intuitive eating. It’s a layer-by-layer process that I support women through.

Trust being the key word.

Experimentation being the next.

Gut health being the foundation.

2019: The smile

I was OBSESSED with eating healthy “enough,”

It is SO nice to be liberated from the mental and emotional bootcamp of “dieting.”

I will forever promote intuitive eating for my clients as it is the ONLY long-term solution for them.

2020: Discovered Womb Wisdom

The knowledge of Ancient women’s health, and all the ways of the PRIMAL female body, I have to say - has truly made me feel like I can FINALLY understand Women’s Health & Fitness.

With this knowledge comes ease in guiding women to integrate their own optimal health practices.

Grateful for the time to dive into this while my Fitness Business was on pause due to the p a n d e m i c.

2021: Still a leader & still a student

Got invited to guest-speak with these amazing, inspirational men! Jesse Itzler, Marq Brown, and Chadd Wright on their on 30 Days of Excellence membership program!

The topic was “Pushing plateaus with Fitness, Mobility, and Nutrition expert - Asma Kassam”

Attendance count was about 300.

Amen brothers and sisters!

Grateful and PRESENT for all of it!

Look forward to more guest-speaking and sharing <3

NOW: Guide women to their optimal body, mind, & spirit

Over the past 2 years, I have shifted my offerings away from 1:1 Personal Training. The reason for this is, I have learned, the most impactful topics for Optimal health & fitness, is not counting sets and reps, rather it is addressing root issues & challenges, and establishing a holistic healthy foundation.
